There is No Universal Acne Cure

Finding 100% pure Rosehip Oil turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be. I’ve been making it myself for a while now thanks to the garden that my old place had but now that I’ve moved into an apartment I unfortunately don’t have any space to have my own herb garden! I know, it’s super sad but thankfully Amazon has exactly what I need. I’ve been using Rosehip Oil for several years now in place of a moisturizer – I couldn’t justify spending the $30 that a good moisturizer typically is going to set you back.

Honestly, I’ve been battling acne since I was fourteen. It’s become part of my life – a very annoying part of my life that I wish I didn’t have to deal with. Read the rest of this entry »

What’s All the Fuss About Phytoceramide Supplements?

One thing you notice as the years slip by is how much your skin starts to look like your mom’s skin. I noticed my mom’s skin losing its elasticity and firmness years ago. She actually got a facelift. It does make her look like she pretty much instantly took 20 years off of the look of her face, but that is too extreme for me. Since I am 22 years younger than my mother, I wanted to get started doing something to protect my skin’s integrity now. That is why I got interested in phytoceramide supplement choices.

I heard about them on that doctor show on TV. Read the rest of this entry »

Causes of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes

The precise cause of type 1 diabetes is not known. What has been determined is that the body’s immune system eliminates it’s own islet cells in the pancreas. The function of the islet cells are to produce insulin. Once the cells are destroyed, the body makes little to no insulin.

Without insulin, the body can’t provide adequate energy to tissues and muscles. When a healthy, non type 1 person eats the pancreas produces normal insulin and it is sent to the bloodstream. From that point, it makes the rounds through the cells in the body and provides the required energy vital for normal function. The liver also plays a vital role in storing and producing insulin. Whenever your insulin levels are running low, the liver will pick up the slack and change stored insulin into back into normal glucose. This lowers the blood sugar and keeps it a normal level.

Because type 1 diabetes there is not enough glucose for the conversion to occur, the normal functions mentioned above do not occur. Rather than being transported back into the bloodstream, the glucose increases to high levels. The high levels of glucose can lead to damaging and potentially fatal consequences. Often, people who have diabetes may have to wear special shoes, such as those found at, to encourage proper circulation and prevent issues related to diabetes.

The most common form of diabetes is type 2. Of all diagnosed cases, only 5 to 10% are non type 2. With this type, the body does produce insulin just not enough for proper use. There can be many causes related to this type of diabetes. It can be a single cause or several factors may contribute to the disease.

Anybody can get type 2 but there are certain factors that may contribute. For example, people who are overweight or morbidly obese are at a high risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Also, people who are inactive or have a genetic predisposition are at risk. Certain ethnic groups are at a higher risk as well. Type 2 diabetes does not form overnight. You will go through an insulin resistant phase, also known as pre-diabetic, prior to full onset diabetes. It can take an individual years to discover that they have type 2 diabetes.

Need to Trim Down to Play in the Backfield

Of course I thought I would play the tight end or as a middle linebacker when I showed up here. It was going that way until I blew out my knew before my sophomore year here. Now I am at a weight that would be good for a tight end or a linebacker, but that is not where I am going to play as things look right now. Instead I need to lose five or ten pounds and get quicker to play as a slot receiver slash running back and as a defensive back. I need some hcg drops or something that would magically let me drop the weight without losing any strength and I need to work on my agility, burst speed and getting down the field.

The coach who recruited me to this college moved on to a bigger school, and we got this new coach from Texas who runs the sort fo spread offense that they like so much down there and out in the Big 12. You never huddle up at all and you need about a dozen guys who can catch the ball. I was a very good receiver in high school and in fact this is the sort of offense where I would get the ball upwards of 25 times per game, either directly through a hand off or in the short passing game. We been running it already in spring practice and all of the running backs are just not very good at this sort of football. Hardly any of them can catch most of the balls thrown to them. To be honest the quarterback situation is unsettled too and the guys we are practicing are not used to getting these sorts of quick throws out with the accuracy that you really need.

I Needed a Better Job

I didn’t go to college when I graduated from high school. I knew that I did not want to sit in a classroom for four more years. I wish I had thought more about the types of jobs I would be able to get with just a high school diploma though. There were not many, and the available ones were for minimum wage. I knew that I needed something more than that, so I started looking at the different options available to me. A friend suggested I look into phlebotomy certification because the training is not anywhere near as long as a traditional college degree. Read the rest of this entry »

Overseas Prices Are Absolutely Ridiculous

Argan oil is this new revolutionary thing that has taken the hair care industry by storm. It both strengthens and nourishes your hair so that you can go around looking as beautiful as you feel. It is not anything that has not been done before, the benefits of using argan oil over other things is that it is relatively cheap to make and purchase on the consumer side. That is a great thing because when haircare products are cheap that encourages them to continue to develop new things so that the consumer will continue to be happy. It also lets other products like shampoo integrate the oils into their product so that the consumer can just use one thing instead of 2. It is a great thing to have available and if you ever see any at a local store I suggest you pick it up. It is most definitely worth the price that you will pay, and even that price is fairly negligible.

This New Skin Cream is Working Well for Me Even Though I Work Outdoors in the Sun

Lifecell Anti Wrinkle Cream Review - Does Lifecell Really Work?I was having trouble keeping my skin looking healthy with my job. I have to work outside in the hot Florida sun. I wear clothes to cover me up, and I wear sunscreen on exposed skin. I also learned to use it when wearing thin clothes because the sun gets right through. However, I needed something to repair the damage that my job was causing me with my skin. I went to when I heard about this skin cream that they have that repairs damage.

I have used pretty much every type of skin cream and lotion. If you look at the ingredients, they are variations on a theme. Some of them have more of one ingredient and less of another, but they all pretty much have the same list of chemicals in their design. I wanted something revolutionary.
